Currently looking for a dynamic addition to our team to enhance the safety division of the business. The successful candidate will show a keen interest in the health and safety industry. This position is available for persons located in all states.
Requirements, Desired Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Health and Safety qualification is essential.
They should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
May be required to provide quotes for customers.
Must have a valid driver’s permit and own a vehicle.
Warehouse safety consultations.
In charge of inspecting site conditions.
Function as an internal safety officer for the company.
Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks can be reduced.
Carry out regular site inspections to check that policies and procedures are being properly implemented and to ensure that all work is being performed safely.
Lead in-house training with manager and employees related to health and safety issues and risks.
Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation.
Inspect customer’s warehouses, keep records of inspection findings, produce reports and make recommendations.
Communicate with customers in person, by telephone or email.
